The S35 is made of high quality materials for natural, low distortion sound. Inside its cabinet is a high-resolution 1 "Terylene dome tweeter for clear, detailed highs and realistic voice reproduction. Six highly efficient 3" Dynamic Balance® woofers are made of mica-reinforced polypropylene light but strong. The non-resonant MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) cabinet and anti-diffraction grille provide an acoustically inert structure to reduce sonic interference. Polk's unique Power Port technology adds low-end impact.

The Terylene dome tweeter is designed to provide clear and detailed high frequency response (up to 40kHz) for realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments.
Mid-range polypropylene driver
Mica-reinforced polypropylene cones with butyl rubber edges, ceramic motor frames, and high-temperature Conex fiber spider combine to create more efficient drivers for clean, clear bass, increased linearity, less distortion and longer life.
Wall mountable LCR design
You can use two (left / right) or three (left / center / right) S35 speakers to create a front acoustic array matched to the tone. The integrated four-way keyhole slots will allow you to mount the S35 horizontally for use as a center or vertically for use as a left / right speaker.
Dual Power Port Deep Bass Technology
The two power ports are designed to smoothly transfer the airflow to the listening area. They also extend the overall bass port, providing more surface area to help eliminate turbulence and distortion, for a bigger, more musical and deeper bass impact.
